Cordia sebestena

$180.00

Cordia sebestena also known as Orange Geiger Tree, Geranium Tree, Anaconda, Scarlet Cordia  :This massive, circular, evergreen tree gradually grows to a height of 25 feet and spreads evenly and can build a trunk with a thickness of 12 inches. The big, hairy & stiff, dark-green, seven-inch leaves are raw and rough, and feel a lot like sandpaper. Throughout the year, but particularly in spring and summer, dark orange, flowers having 2-in width appear at branch tips in clusters. The magnificent flowers are accompanied by pears haped fruits, one to two inches long, which have a good fragrance but are not especially tasty.
