This (Bismarck Palm, Bismark Palm) tropical palm draws attention and is awe everywhere it grows. Bismarckia nobilis (Bismarck Palms, Bismark Palms). The palms Bismarck stout trunk and the symmetry of the enormous crown give the visual impact of this great beauty an official note. It grows a single trunk which smoothly retains the basis of old leaves on mature specimens. With a length of 20 ft (6 m) or more, this palm can reach an ultimate height of 50-60 ft (15-18 m) .. Particularly young specimens with the optimum range continue to form a trunk sport full of 25-leaf crowns! The enormous palm leaves are bright blue, waxy, up to 3 m in length. They are anchored by 6 ft (1.8 m) stems with a diameter of 10 in (25 cm). The foundations of the leaf are split up in the trunk and the leaf stalks are armed with little sharp teeth (similar to those on the palmetto of Sabal).
