Citrus maxima (or Citrus grandees) is a crisp citrus fruit native to Southeast Asia, named after the shaddock, pomelo, or pommelo fruit. It is usually pale green to yellow when ripe, with a very broad albedo  with a sweet white flesh (or, more infrequently, pink or red). This is the largest citrus fruit, with a diameter of 15–25 cm (5.9–9.8 in) and a weight of 1–2 kilos (2.2–4.4 lb).
