Description

Hibiscus schizopetalus (Japanese Lanterns, Chinese Lanterns, Waltzing Ladies, Fringed Rosemallow ) is high, slender,remain always green shrub with pendent or arch shaped  branches, and ovate, toothed like, medium- to dark  green leaves with a length of 12 centimeters.   Long-stalked, pendent, rose or red flowers of up to 8 centimeter in length, each with a long staminal, pinkish stamens and reflexed petals with deep and irregular fringes are produced specially  in summer from the upper exiles.
