Description : Jatropha integerrima (Peregrina, Spicy Jatropha) is a plant which remain evergreen  or a shrub with vibrant and deep colored  leaves and star-shaping clusters of vivid & scarlet vermilions.  The plant has a circular or narrow domed shape and reaches up to 15 feet or (4.6 meter) high, with a diameter of approx. 10 feet or (3.1 mter), although it is typically smaller in forming. Peregrina also grows with slender trunks,and strub-like but it can be trimmed to one trunk. The leaves can be very variable, complete and elliptic or oval, and also can be fiddle shaped, or three sharply pointing lobes. On Early age they are  and brownish on the undersides,  and may be bronze. The flowers are around 1inch or (2.5 centimeterm) in diameter and appear all year round in multi-floral terminal clusters. Compacta is a smaller cultivar, which is more compact.
