Livistona rotundifolia (Footstool Palm, Roundleaf Fan Palm, Serdang) from small to large, slender trunk palm with prominent leaf marks. Spiny leaf stalks, 2 m long, narrower, small, lustrous, dark green leaves, divided into many linear rigid and shallowly notched lobes for around two thirds of length. Cream color flowers are produced in panicles smaller than the leaves, sometimes in the summer, accompanied by spherical, scarlet berries, 2 cm long, which mature to black.
