Description
Plumeria pudica (Plumeria) seems to be today’s finest plumeria. They are really quick to grow and thrive fast. There is also a light scent in the flowers. For much of the year, this Plumeria requires more strong sun and drier temperatures. In hotter areas normally evergreen. During the hot summer months, they will use some water, maybe once in 10-15 days if it doesn’t rain. The plant will be kept drier with waterings every 4 weeks during the winter freezing temperatures. Plumerias don’t like wet soil, so it’s necessary to drain. Fertilization will mostly take place during the hot summer months if the plant develops vigorously. This is better to fertilize with an average 1-1-1 ratio. Several Plumeria varieties are especially affected by rust in late summer / fall. We found this issue impacting the Pudica of Plumeria.
