Description

Tamarind Small to big tree 30 m high and is considered to be active for up to 150-200 years. The canopy is brittle and the tree is a nice windbreak. The light yellow flowers clusters are rust-colored balls. Fruiting typically starts at about 10 years, but early fruiting may be accomplished by grafting. Modulating was not reported, but has connections with vesicular arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi.
